MEET KRISTINA.

"Hold Your Head Up High"

Kristina Wrenn is a singing southern belle from Charleston, SC. She moved to Nashville a few years ago to pursue her career as an artist after singing Southern Gospel with her family most of her life. Wrenn has a unique musical style that resembles that of the classics Ronstadt, Raitt and Etta James. Her smooth yet powerful voice is balanced with lyrics that are hopeful and light hearted with an edge that can leave you thinking.

After being diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at a young age, Wrenn wrapped her love of people, the love of her music, and the plight of her life together. She has partnered with the American Diabetes Association and has committed her career to finding and funding a cure for Diabetes. "Hold Your Head Up High" is a theme song Wrenn wrote for the organization and sings at ADA fund raising events. Wrenn quotes -  "Hold Your Head Up High" is an anthem for those in need - no matter the illness. People need to be encouraged that their disease does not define them, but it can remind them there is nothing to be ashamed of and there is nothing that can take you down as long as you hold your head up high." Wrenn released her six-song EP, Live Out Loud, produced by Mike Ulvila in March, 2015. It's available on all digital media retailers. A portion of proceeds from all product sales goes to support the American Diabetes Association.
